"Overview of Turkey's Software Ecosystem" report was published

Expressing her views on the report, Gönül Kamalı, Chairman of the Board of Directors of YASAD, said: "In recent years, the software industry has achieved a rapid growth process with the impact of the digital transformation process. We estimate that this process will continue and the industry will grow by a minimum of 20 percent in the next five years. The export figure of the software industry has exceeded 4 billion dollars as of 2022 and is expected to reach 15 - 20 billion dollars in the next 5 years. The export-oriented growth vision of the software industry will make a great contribution to our country and our companies." Explaining that the growth of the software industry is closely related to the development of the ecosystem, Kamalı said, "A strong ecosystem provides an advantage in integrating into the global economy. The Turkish software industry has made significant progress in recent years with the impact of public support and incentives and the launch of venture capital organizations. We have achieved a structure that attracts investment from abroad. We now observe that the Turkish software industry is rapidly moving towards a point where it will get a larger share from the global export market." Noting that the software industry is strategic not only for its own commercial value but also for the added value it provides to all other industries it serves, Chairman Kamalı said that the Turkey Software Ecosystem Overview report reflects this strategic point to a great extent.
